Foreign Study on an Upswing With New Locations
Adventurers who want to take full advantage of Dartmouth might want to bring their passports: More than half the students study abroad before they graduate. And as demand for international learning grows, so does the list of Foreign Study (FSP), Language Study Abroad (LSA), and other programs spreading across the globe.
Dartmouth students and scholars are actively engaged in international study, research, and collaboration.
Far-Flung Thanksgiving: Off-Campus Programs Celebrate
As the Dartmouth community prepares for Thanksgiving, Dartmouth Now asked students and faculty participating on the College’s fall foreign study and language study abroad programs in Peru, Scotland, and China how they plan to observe the holiday far from home. These and dozens of other off-campus programs are offered through the Frank J. Guarini Institute for International Education.
Dartmouth Leads the Ivies in Study Abroad Participation
Dartmouth is the top-ranked Ivy League institution and ninth overall among doctorate-granting institutions in the U.S. for study abroad participation, according to the Institute of International Education, which this week released its annual report.
