Noelle L. Warinsky

Assistant Director for Study Away

Noelle Warinsky is the Assistant Director of Study Away at the Guarini Institute. She manages the application and pre-departure processes and advises students on all programs, with a focus for those on exchange programs. She also works closely with Study Away Mentors and leads the coordination and planning for some faculty-directed programs.

Noelle genuinely enjoys talking with students, faculty, and staff to hear what they are up to and to explore questions related to studying away. Having gained a huge amount of personal enrichment from international education, she believes that study away programs should be a part of everyone's college experience. Prior to her time at the Guarini Institute, Noelle worked abroad as a TESOL instructor and with student exchange organizations, where she frequently worked with students on the ground. After around 10 years in the field, she still enjoys helping curious students get out into the world and is always interested to hear what unexpected things they learn about their destinations and themselves.

In her free time, Noelle can be found reading the news, talking about the news, and occasionally taking a break from the news. She enjoys the ocean and exploring new cities but spends more time in the woods these days. Due to a recent investment in bird feeders, she has become popular with her neighborhood chickadees and hopes to one day spot a bobolink because she thinks the name is funny.
